Oxhufoud

The Oxhufoud (spelling in literature sometimes Oxhuvud) was a Swedish measure of volume for liquids. It corresponded to the well-known Oxhoft . The Kanna (jug) assumed as the basic measure was calculated to be 2.61719 liters.

  • 1 Oxhufoud = 90 Kannor = 235.584 liters
  • 4 Oxhuvuden = 2 Pipor = 1 Foder (Fuder) = 6 Am = 24 Anchors (Anchor) = 360 Kannor
