Oyaki

Oyaki ( Japanese お 焼 き , dt. "Pastry") is a Japanese round pastry, which is fried on an iron plate with round indentations and filled with vegetables or sweet with anko or vanilla cream (custard cream).

Unlike Taiyaki, Oyaki can often be found in supermarkets, so that you only have to warm up the pastries at home.

A similar dish is the Taiyaki or the Imagawayaki .
