Päivi Hannele Simukka (born January 21, 1966 in Kerava ) is a former Finnish cross-country skier .

Career

Simukka, who started for the Rajamen Kehitys, ran her first of a total of four World Cup individual races in Lahti in February 1987 , which she finished in 70th place over 5 km freestyle. In her only Olympic participation in February 1992 in Albertville , she achieved the 37th place over 30 km freestyle and thus achieved her best placement in the individual World Cup. She completed her last international race in December 1992 at the Continental Cup in Davos . There she was eighth over 5 km classic and third over 5 km freestyle.
