Püdelsi

Concert of Püdelsi in Wejherowo
Püdelsi are a Polish rock band founded in Cracow in 1985 .
Career
They followed up on the underground band Düpa of the legendary Krakow surrealist and lyricist Piotr Marek , who killed himself that same year at the age of 35. The first records contained only songs to texts by Marek, who had also influenced other groups like Maanam decisively.
The new lead singer and lyricist was Maciej Maleńczuk , who decisively shaped the style of the band. After the temporary dissolution, they formed anew in 1995 on the 10th anniversary of Marek's death. In 2004 the first best of album was released with the "cheerful sides" of its own story, one with the "gloomy" ones should follow.
