P-27 is a Swiss hip-hop group from Basel .
Career
In 1991 she released the first Swiss German rap title Murder by Dialect on the second Fresh Stuff compilation together with Black Tiger . The first album Overdose Funk followed that same year. The texts were partly in English , partly in Swiss German . Her second album Jetzt geht's aa was released in 1994 on EMI Records Switzerland and was recorded completely with a live funk band. The album was rather untypical for Swiss-German rap and ahead of its time. In 1999 P-27 released the third album "Dr Einzig Waeg" on Muve Recordings .
After a break from the band, Skelt! and Tron returned in 2007 with the EP Pumpin 'Daze , which features five new songs as well as a remastered and edited version of Murder by Dialect .
