PC Intern was a computer magazine from the Data Becker publishing house with a focus on internal details of the PC architecture on the part of the hardware, but also the software, including programming. The magazine was based on the system programming book of the same name published by Data Becker.

As an independent magazine, it was initially published monthly in autumn 1995, at times also bi-monthly and since 2001 quarterly . While the target group was still the power user and "PC freak" in the beginning, it later still conveyed detailed PC knowledge, but was also understandable for advanced users. In 2006, the quarterly issue of the magazine had a circulation of 45,000 copies (not IVW-checked).

Since the middle of 2004 it has had the addition " PC practice special issue". As is customary in this market segment, a CD / DVD with software was included with the magazine since 1998 . In February 2007 the magazine was discontinued; the last issue was published on April 28, 2007.

In 2013 the magazine appeared again at irregular intervals until the publishing house closed in early 2014.
