The PHQ panic module is a psychodiagnostic test of the health questionnaire for patients ( PHQ-D ) and comprises 15 questions, with each question covering a DSM-IV criterion of the panic disorder . There is also a short form of the panic module with only 5 questions.

Application areas of the PHQ panic module

Criterion validity

The criterion validity of the German version of the PHQ-D panic module was determined on a total of 528 patients (357 general medical patients and 171 psychosomatic patients) and with reference to the "Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV (SKID-I)" as the "gold standard" The sensitivity of the questionnaire for the diagnosis of panic disorder is 73% (specificity = 92%) in psychosomatic patients and 73% (specificity = 98%) in medical patients and thus has very good classification properties.

Standard values
