PHQ stress module
The PHQ stress module is a psychodiagnostic questionnaire that can be used to inquire about psychosocial stress factors that provide information about the triggering or sustaining conditions of a mental disorder .
Structure of the PHQ stress module
The PHQ stress module questionnaire has established itself as an independent questionnaire from questions 12a-12j of the complete version of the health questionnaire for patients ( PHQ-D ).
Evaluation of the PHQ stress module
A degree of severity for the stress area can be formed by adding up the ten questions to form a total value. The numerical evaluation of the individual questions is
- 0 (not affected),
- 1 (little impaired),
- 2 (severely impaired).
The scale sum value stress varies accordingly between 0 and 20. The following table describes the interpretation of the possible scale sum values:
Calculated total scale value | Psychosocial stressors |
---|---|
0-4 | Minimally pronounced psychosocial stress factors |
5-9 | Mild psychosocial stressors |
10-14 | Moderately pronounced psychosocial stress factors |
15-20 | Severe psychosocial stressors |
