PN G272.8 + 01.0 is a planetary nebula located about 5000 light years away in the constellation Sails of the Ship . In 2001, DH Morgan, QA Parker and D. Russeil recognized the nebula in a Hα sky survey and classified the central star of the nebula as a Wolf-Rayet star ; this is also referred to as PMR 1 after them .
