Pablo, the little red fox (original title: Pablo the Little Red Fox) is an animated series that was produced between 1999 and 2000 and was created in German , British and French cooperation. It is based on the book by Hannah Giffard.

The little fox Pablo grows up with his sister Poppy and his brother Pumpkin with his parents in a cave on the outskirts. During the day he sleeps and at night he searches the area for things to eat. He gets to know the world of humans from the perspective of an animal that they have rejected and despised and what it means to grow up.

Production and publication

The German premiere took place on 15 December 2000 to KI.KA instead. Further broadcasts took place on ZDF . Directed by Albert Pereira Lazaro.
