Pablo Garrido (athlete)

Pablo Garrido (born June 22, 1938 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican athlete . During the opening ceremony of the 1968 Summer Olympics , which took place in his hometown, he spoke the Olympic oath on behalf of all athletes. During the competitions he started in the marathon . With a time of 2: 35: 47.8 hours, Garrido crossed the finish line in 26th place.
