Pacific School of Religion

The Pacific School of Religion is a theological seminary in Berkeley , California . It trains graduates for the United Church of Christ , United Methodist Church , Disciples of Christ, and other Christian denominations . In 1866 the Pacific Theological Seminary was founded.

It includes the Badè Museum of Biblical Archeology with an extensive collection of artefacts, especially from archaeological excavations in Tell en-Nasbeh near Jerusalem from 1926 to 1935. It has over 300 historical Bibles and up to 2015 some Oxyrhynchus papyri (including P. Oxy XV 1596 ).

The president is David Vásquez-Levy.
