The packing size is the space required (expressed as length × width × height) of an item of clothing , sleeping bag , tent , inflatable boat , etc. that is folded or rolled up as compactly as possible . The pack size of equipment is important for campers , hikers , mountaineers , etc., who usually carry their equipment around in a backpack with a correspondingly limited space.
