The Painters Cove ( English , Polish Zatoka Malarzy 'painter's bay ' ) is a bay on the south coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Martins Head and Malczewski Point as a side bay of Legru Bay .
Polish scientists named them in 1980 in honor of the Polish painters Jacek Malczewski (1854–1929) and Jan Matejko (1838–1893).
