Palacio Correa

The Palacio Correa is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The building, erected in 1890, is located in Ciudad Vieja at 747 Calle Rincón, corner of Ciudadela . The building was created based on the design of the architect Juan Tosi . While it was originally designed as a residential and commercial building, it now houses offices. The Venezuelan Embassy in Uruguay is located in the Palacio Correa . In 2007 restoration work took place under the direction of the architects I. Arcos, J. Llona and C. Pintos .

Since 1975 the building has been classified as the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
