Palais Blankenfelde
The Palais Blankenfelde was a baroque building in Berlin-Mitte on Spandauer Strasse . It was the oldest town house in the city until it was demolished in 1889.
The building was the ancestral home of one of the oldest Berlin families, which had been in the Berlin Council since 1287 and had belonged to the urban leadership for centuries.
It was demolished to make way for a power station.
