Spreti Palace
The Palais Spreti at Kardinal-Faulhaber-Straße 6 in the old town of Munich was built around 1720 in the late Baroque style on behalf of Count Maximilian Joseph von Toerring-Jettenbach .
history
From 1724 to 1786 it was owned by the Counts of Spreti . In 1789 it was changed. After it was destroyed in the Second World War , it was rebuilt again, greatly modified, and a third floor was added in 1970. A rich stucco structure on the first floor has been preserved. The palace does not have a central portal. On either side of the central window, which is decorated with a figure in the window frame, there are four further window axes. Today the building is owned by a bank. In 1989 he was awarded the State Capital's Facade Prize. It was removed from the list of architectural monuments in Munich because of the increase in storeys and major renovations inside.
