Palfinger Marine is an Austrian manufacturer of marine, offshore and wind cranes, winches and offshore equipment as well as davit systems and boats.
Palfinger Marine is part of the listed Palfinger Group and has its headquarters in Salzburg . The company operates internationally and has branches and production sites around the world.
Products

expansion
In 2010 Palfinger Marine took over the Dutch company Ned-Deck Marine and incorporated it as separate business units for launch and recovery systems . Ned-Deck Marine was renamed Palfinger Ned-Deck.
In November 2012, the Norwegian offshore crane manufacturer Bergen Group Dreggen was bought. In 2010, the Dutch boat manufacturer FRSQ was taken over, which was incorporated into the company as Palfinger Boats in 2014. At the beginning of 2015, the Norwegian deck machinery manufacturer Norwegian Deck Machinery (NDM) was taken over.
Branding
In March 2016, the acquired companies Ned-Deck, Dreggen and NDM (Norwegian Deck Machinery) were merged and integrated under an umbrella brand and corporate logo "Palfinger". The expanded product portfolio now includes marine and offshore cranes, davit systems (formerly launch and recovery systems) as well as ship winches and deck equipment for the maritime industry.
Acquisitions
At the end of May 2016, the contract to take over the Harding Group in Norway was signed. Harding is one of the leading providers of lifesaving equipment and services for installations and applications on ships. With this acquisition, Palfinger Marine is expanding its product range to include lifeboats and also adding davit systems to the existing range.
