Pall Corporation is a United States company headquartered in Port Washington , New York .

The company mainly produces filtration systems and products and is therefore active in various areas:

  • "Industrial" among others: aerospace, defense, marine, chemistry, microelectronics
  • "Life Science": biopharmaceuticals, medical technology, food and beverages

The company was founded in 1946 by David B. Pall as Micro Metallic Corporation. Pall has four locations in Germany: Dreieich, Crailsheim, Bad Kreuznach and Hamburg.

On May 13, 2015, the conglomerate Danaher Corporation announced that it would take over the American filter specialist. In August 2015, Danaher acquired Pall for $ 127.20 per share or approximately $ 13.8 billion.
