Pantelis Nikolaou (also Lakis Nikolaou, Greek Λάκης Νικολάου , born July 17, 1949 ) is a former Greek football player .

Player career

Nikolaou played his entire career at AEK Athens . Between 1961 and 1984 he won five Greek championship titles and the Greek Cup four times .

Internationally, Nikolaou played 15 times for the Greek national team. He took part in the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy and was used there once.

After the playing career

Nikolaou is studying medicine alongside his football career . After completing his degree, he specialized in orthopedics . He became the club doctor of AEK Athens and Olympiacos Piraeus . From 1997 to 1998 he was the club president of AEK Athens.
