The animals reach a head trunk length of about 10.4 to 11.6 cm, have a 15.1 to 16.9 cm long tail and reach a weight of 25 to 33 g. The color of the fur on the back and the head is dark brown, with the sides being a little lighter. The hair on the back is 8 to 9 mm long. There are dark circles around the eyes. The ventral side from the chin to the genitals is whitish. The transition from the brownish sides of the body to the white peritoneum is abrupt. The tops of the feet are white.
