Panth-Piploda

Panth-Piploda was the smallest province of British India . In 1941 it had an area of ​​65 km² and 5267 inhabitants, consisting of several small parts, including the princely states of Gwalior , Jaora and Dewas . The capital was Kharwa . The area originally belonged to Jaora , came under British Indian administration in 1935 and was ceded to British India in May 1942. In 1947 the area was incorporated into the Ratlam District , which in 1950 became part of Madhya Bharat State . The district has belonged to Madhya Pradesh since 1956 .
