Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is an MMORPG currently in development that is set in the fantasy world of Terminus. The game from game developer Visionary Realms is designed by Brad McQuaid, who is known for his work on EverQuest and Vanguard , among others . With the pre-alpha phase , which the game has been in since December 13, 2017, it was made available to a first group of supporters.

Gameplay

The game focuses on game content for groups, but there should also be content for solo play or larger raids . The group size at the current stage of development is six players. Visionary Realms wants to deliver challenging game content with Pantheon and encourage players to social interactions in the game. One of the principles of the game is that more dangerous adventures that require players to take a higher risk will also yield more or better loot.

Classes

A total of 12 classes will be available to the player at the release. These are: Priest (Cleric), Paladin, Warrior (Warrior), Dire Lord, Hunter (Ranger), Villain (Rogue), Monk (Monk), Summoner, Warlock (Enchanter), Wizard (Wizard) , Druid (druid) and shaman (shaman). Further classes are to be added to the game step by step after the release. The Bard (Bard) and the Necromancer (Necromancer) are already two of these post-release classes.

Races

Nine different races can be played at release. These are: Archai, Dwarfs (Dwarves), Dark Myr, Ogres (Ogres), Humans, Halflings (Halflings), Elves (Elves), Gnomes (Gnomes) and Skar.

jobs

For each character, the player can choose a craft occupation and one of two specializations available for this occupation.
The trades are: alchemist, blacksmith, woodworker, outfitter, provider, stonemason and scribe.

In addition, each character can pursue all available collecting professions as long as he has the necessary tools with him.
The collecting professions are: fishing, gathering, logging, mining and skinning.

The recycling (salvaging) of objects is another way of extracting raw materials.

Others

There will be no “gender lock” in the classes or in the races. This means that all combinations of races and classes will be available as both female and male characters.

It is not yet clear whether Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will be released in German. The developers want to decide on translations depending on the size of the player community speaking the language.
