Panzerchrist is a blackened death metal band from Aarhus , Denmark .

Band history

Panzerchrist was founded in 1993 when Michael Enevoldsen left Illdisposed . Panzerchrist recorded a demo and were signed by Serious Entertainment.

Six Seconds Kill was recorded in 1996 and was positively received by the death metal scene. The same was true for the 1998 successor Outpost Fort Europa .

In 2000, drummers Reno Killerich and Bo Summer joined the band to record Soul Collector . Soul Collector caused a stir because of the Second World War themes and the German lyrics. The album was received mostly positively in the death metal scene and was characterized by an extremely fast and hard sound.

In 2002 the band Frederik O'Carroll and Rasmus Henriksen joined to work on Room Service . It was recorded at Antfarm Studios in 2003 and released by Mighty Music .

In 2006 drummers Kiilerich and Karina Bundgaard, now on keyboards, rejoined the band to record Battalion Beast , which was released in 2006 by Neurotic Records.

In 2008, singer Bo Summer was kicked out of the band and replaced by Johnny Pump, who had previously worked for various Danish black metal bands.
