Curb chain

A curb chain is a chain whose links are twisted by 90 degrees so that the chain can lie flat. This means it can be worn comfortably as a necklace .

Wide and thick tank chains experienced a renaissance in the 1990s, as they were often an integral part of the outfit of followers of the hip-hop movement. Mostly, chains made of silver were worn, often very long and with an oversized symbol pendant.
