Paodao Jiao ( Chinese 跑道 角 , Pinyin Pǎodào Jiǎo - "runway cape ") is the name of a cape in the west of the Fildes Peninsula of King George Island , the largest of the South Shetland Islands . It forms the tip of the headland onto which the western end of the runway of the Chilean airfield Aeródromo Teniente Rodolfo Marsh Martin protrudes.
Chinese cartographers named the headland in 1986 when evaluating aerial photographs.
