Paolo Berlusconi

Paolo Berlusconi (born December 6, 1949 in Milan ) is an Italian entrepreneur and the younger brother of Silvio Berlusconi .

In 1990 a new media law (the legge Mammì ) forced Silvio Berlusconi to give up control of his daily newspaper Il Giornale . His brother Paolo then became the new owner and publisher.

With his company Pbf srl , Paolo Berlusconi holds 51% of the Solari company, which in turn controls the Italian market for DVB-T decoders . He is also vice-president of AC Milan football club .

In 2002 he was a. a. Accused of falsification of accounts and corruption and sentenced to one year and nine months' probation and a fine of 49 million euros for having received 86 million euros from the Milanese city council for his SIMEC landfill.
