Pope and Neighbor

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pope and Neighbors is a simple dice game with a single dice for any number of players. In addition to the dice, three tokens are required for each player.

Style of play

Pope and Neighbor is played with a single die.

Each player needs three tokens in the form of coins, matches or chips. The aim is to get rid of these brands as quickly as possible.

The game is played once in turn. If the player rolls a two, he gives one of his tokens to his left neighbor; if the player rolls a five, he places a token in the middle of the table "for the Pope". As soon as the player has no more tokens, he no longer needs to roll the dice, but remains in the game and can get tokens from his neighbor again. The loser is the player who is the last to own a brand.
