The Papstar GmbH (proper spelling: PAPSTAR ) to September 2012 Papstar mbH & Co. KG , based in Kall , North Rhine-Westphalia , is a leading provider of consumer-oriented range concepts in Europe. The company offers logistics and service solutions between manufacturers and retail groups or consumers.
history
In 1979 Papstar emerged from the cardboard factory Oswald Matheis in Olef_ (Schleiden) , which was founded in 1873 . One year after it was founded, the logistics center and administration center in Kall were completed.
In 1984 and 1986 the company was expanded to include subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Austria , 1998 in Spain and France , 2000 in Sweden , 2007 in Italy and 2010 in Poland .

Papstar offers over 5,000 items: single-use tableware and service packaging, packaging, hygiene products, set tables, household helpers, decorative items and accessories and stationery.
Logistic services
Papstar has been cooperating with 3M Deutschland GmbH since January 2003 and, in addition to sales, also takes over the clearing of goods at the point of sale . In addition, Papstar also takes on logistics services for Pelikan AG and Faber-Castell .
Others
Papstar has implemented both a quality management system ( ISO 9001 ) and an environmental management system ( ISO 14001 ) and had them certified according to internationally recognized standards.
The central warehouse in Kall offers almost 70,000 pallet spaces. In the collection and delivery logistics, 3800 tons are moved in around 10,000 deliveries per month.
As a partner of the German Currywurst Museum in Berlin (2009–2018), Papstar brought the topic of sustainability into the focus of visitors with the walk-in exhibit Öko-Cube .
