The fragments of the Oxyrhynchus Papyrus 5101

Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 5101 (also P.Oxy.LXXVII 5101; LDAB 140272; Rahlfs 2227) comprises several fragments of a papyrus scroll that contained texts from the Greek version of the Old Testament ( Septuagint ). The pieces were found in Oxyrhynchos and contain Psalms 26: 9-14; 44.4-8; 47.13-15; 48.6-21; 49.2-16; 63.6–64.5 according to the numbering of the Septuagint in the Koine Greek version. Today the fragments belong to the collection of the Sackler Library in the library of the University of Oxford .

The manuscript is palaeographically dated between 50 BC. Dated 150 BC and 150 AD. In the text, the Tetragrammaton ( YHWH ) in ancient Hebrew script is used to represent the name of God .
