Paquito Cordero
Paquito Cordero ( Francisco Cordero Baéz ; born October 16, 1932 in Santurce , † June 30, 2009 in San Juan ) was a Puerto Rican television producer and actor.
Cordero attended Santurce Central High School and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico . In the mid-1960s he founded Paquito Cordero Productions, Inc. Their first production, El Show de las 12 , was first broadcast on Telemundo in 1965 and was one of the most popular programs there for 40 years. Other successful productions by Cordero included Noche de Gala , Walter, Las Estrellas y Usted , Mi Hippie Me Encanta , El Show de Chucho , En Casa de Juanma y Wiwi and La Gente Joven de Menudo / Menudomania . He also appeared as an actor in a number of comedies and was the writer and director of the comedy El alcalde de Machucha (1964).
