The parade uniform (full dress uniform) is a special type of suit for uniformed services, in which mostly historical models are used and worn on certain occasions.

In contrast to the dress uniform or the service suit, the parade uniform is worn on special occasions, in particular for parades , ceremonies and honor guards . The uniform mostly goes back to historical references of the organization. Usually a medal clasp with the awards and side arms is worn. It is the most festive uniform according to the protocol and corresponds to the civil cutaway worn on such occasions . As evening wear instead of the parade uniform, the formal suit or the gala uniform is worn.

Depending on the state and uniformed service, the uniforms differ in design, badges and headgear. In Germany, the Bundeswehr does not have a parade uniform, but rather uses a large service suit for such occasions .
