The Paradou Athletic Club is an Algerian football club from Hydra , a district of the capital Algiers .
Young members of the Hydra AC , who saw no chance of joining the team there, founded the club in 1994. Since then, the club has been promoted eight times. Between 2005 and 2007 the club played in the first Algerian league. In the 2010s, PAC is the club in which the students from Jean-Marc Guillou's Algerian football school (Académies JMG) can gain their first league experience based on a cooperation agreement.
There is the following anecdote about the emergence of the club colors blue and yellow: When you thought about the colors, the ambassador of Sweden allegedly drove past the founders in his flagged car and they decided on these colors.
