history
The club was founded in 1898 under the name IKBAL Emancipation . In 1909, however, the team was closed by the French colonial government. In 1916 the team was brought back to life under the Étoile Club Musulman Constantinois . Then closed again by France in 1918.
On June 26, 1926, the Club Sportif Constantinois was then founded. This club was not closed as European players were allowed to play here.
