The USM Bel-Abbès (Union Sportive Medinat Bel-Abbès, Arabic : الإتحاد الرياضي لمدينة بلعباس) is an Algerian football club from Sidi Bel Abbès .

history

The club was founded on February 7, 1933 under the name Union Sportive Musulmane de Bel-Abbès . In 1991 they achieved the club's greatest success when they won the Algerian Cup. They qualified for the first time for the African Cup Winners' Cup , where they failed in the second round of Africa Sports National . In 2018 they won the cup again and met Rangers International from Nigeria in the first round of the following CAF Confederation Cup , where they were eliminated 0-0 and 0-2. With a 1-0 win over champions CS Constantine , they won the Algerian Super Cup in the same year .

The home games have been played since 1981 in Stade 24 Fevrier 1956 , which has a capacity of 45,000 and which now has artificial turf .
