Emine Bilgin
Emine Bilgin (born July 15, 1984 ) is a former Turkish weightlifter .
Career
Bilgin was the 2000 European Junior Champion. In 2001 she won the gold medal in the active class at her first European championship in the class up to 53 kg. At the World Championships in the same year she was fourth. In 2002 she became Vice European Champion . At the World Championships she won bronze in snatching in the up to 58 kg class, but she had no valid attempt in pushing. In 2003 she won silver again at the European Championships .
After a long break, Bilgin took part in the European Championships again in 2008 and came in fifth in the class up to 53 kg. At the European Championships in 2009 she won bronze and at the World Championships in the same year she was seventh. She was also third in the push at the 2009 Mediterranean Games . In 2010 she was banned for two years for a doping violation .
