Parc de Belleville
The Parc de Belleville is a park on the 108 m high hill of Belleville (French: butte de Belleville ) in the 20th arrondissement of Paris in the Belleville district .
The park is known for its 30 m high terrace with a view of the most important monuments of Paris and the 100 m long cascade fountain.
The Maison de l'Air , a didactic museum dedicated to air, and in particular air pollution , is located on the grounds of Parc de Belleville .
history
It was here that the Battle of Paris between Tsar Alexander I and Napoléon Bonaparte took place in 1814 .
