Paris (rapper)

Paris (actually Oscar Jackson Jr. * 29. October 1967 in Illinois ) is an American political - rappers from the West Coast.

Jackson studied economics at the University of California-Davis, but turned to music after graduating. His first hit single was The Hate That Hate Made . During his career he worked a. a. with Public Enemy and George Clinton .

Paris produced a critical video documentary about September 11, 2001 with the Guerrilla News Network (GNN). The theory was that the attacks on the World Trade Center were intentionally initiated by the US government.

Jackson was frequently boycotted by radio, television, and record companies for his critical lyrics, his songs were removed from radio playlists, and videos were boycotted by MTV.
