General election in Fiji 2014
In the 2014 general election in Fiji , the 50 members of the parliament of Fiji were elected. It was the first democratic election since the coup of the military in 2006.
Election result
A total of 247 candidates ran, 44 of them women. Seven parties stood for election. In the end, three parties with 50 MPs entered parliament, four of them women.
