The Parque Explora or Explora Park is an interactive science museum in Medellin , Colombia . With an area of ​​22,000 m², of which 15,000 m² is exhibition space, it is the largest museum in the city. More than three hundred interactive experiments can be carried out in the science park.

Parque Explora has the largest freshwater aquarium in Latin America with numerous species of fish from the Amazon and other tropical rivers. The aquarium recreates the tropical rain forest and the coral banks.

architecture

The building was designed by the Colombian architect Alejandro Echeverri . It has both indoor and outdoor areas and houses the various science and technology rooms in the four red cubes.
