The Partia Demokristiane e Shqipërisë ( Albanian for "Christian Democratic Party of Albania"; acronym: PDKSh ), or Partia Demokristiane (acronym: PDK ) for short , is a Christian Democratic party in Albania .

The PDK took part in the elections for the first time in 1996, achieved 1.3% of the vote and was therefore unable to enter the Albanian parliament . In 1997 it won a seat with 1% of the vote, four years later it failed to make it again with 1%. It was not until 2005 that she managed to win two seats in the Albanian parliament with 3.4% of the votes, which she lost again in the 2009 parliamentary elections with 0.9% as a result of an electoral reform that disadvantaged smaller parties ( threshold clause ).

On June 3, 2006, an extraordinary party congress in the capital Tirana elected Nard Ndoka as chairman. In March 2007 the PDK formed a coalition with the Partia Demokratike e Shqipërisë and provided the Minister of Health with Ndoka. In November 2007 the party split and Nikollë Lesi founded the Lëvizja Demokristiane Shqiptare .
