Particell

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Particell (also: the Particella ) is a notated draft of a piece of music that is not written down as a finished score , but rather outlines the distribution of the voices in a few notation systems . In the individual systems, notes are made for later execution, on the basis of which the final instrumentation can be made, which is then noted in the score.

An extended piano reduction , in which individual significant orchestral parts are notated in one or more extra staves, is also called a particell.
