The Partido Democrático Social ( PDS , German  Democratic Social Party ) was a political party in Brazil .

history

She represented right- wing conservative positions. It was created in 1980 after the renaming of what was then Aliança Renovadora Nacional (ARENA). In 1993 it merged with the Partido Democrata Cristão (PDC, Christian Democratic Party ) to form the Partido Progressista (PP, Progress Party or Progress Party ).
