Partido Nuevo Progresista

The Partido Nuevo Progresista de Puerto Rico is one of the most important parties in Puerto Rico . She advocates integration of the country into the United States as the 51st state . After the 2008 election, it became the strongest party in the House and Senate of Puerto Rico. She provides the (non-voting) delegate to the US House of Representatives , Jenniffer González .

The party was founded in August 1967 and quickly grew in importance. The last time it celebrated a success was on November 6, 2012, when the majority voted in a referendum for the party's admission to the USA, which has been demanded by the party since its foundation.
