Hans Ludescher

Hans Ludescher (born February 20, 1931 in Klaus ; † August 22, 2012 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Ludescher was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1969 to 1984 .

education and profession

After attending the Klaus elementary school, Hans Ludescher graduated from the Mehrerau agricultural college between November 1948 and March 1950 . Ludescher worked on his parents' farm as early as 1945, which he then took over in 1953.

Politics and functions

Ludescher joined the Austrian People's Party and the Austrian Farmers' Union in 1953 . In his home community of Klaus, he took over the position of local chairman of the farmers 'union as early as 1954, and from 1969 to 1984 he was a district board member of the Feldkirch farmers' union. Innerparteilich he worked from 1969 to 1984 as a district board member of the ÖVP in District Feldkirch , also during these years was a member of the national party leadership of the ÖVP Vorarlberg . He represented the ÖVP between October 29, 1969 and November 5, 1984 in the Vorarlberg state parliament and was a member of Klaus' municipal council from 1965 to 1995 and a member of the municipal council from 1965 to 1970. During the three periods of his activity in the state parliament, Ludescher was a member of the legal committee, member of the agricultural committee, member of the culture committee, member of the social policy committee, member of the energy policy committee and member of the control committee. Most recently, he was deputy chairman of the agricultural committee.

Ludescher was also chairman of the young farmers' education club Vorderland, chairman of the Klaus community and chairman of the Klaus agricultural community. He was involved as a commander of the Klaus volunteer fire brigade and was chairman of the Klaus fruit growing association. He was also a committee member of the Sennereigenossenschaft Klaus, a committee member of the savings and loan fund Klaus and a member of the supervisory board of the Vorarlberger Landes- und Hypothekenbank as well as a member of the Vorderländer Viehversicherung.

Private

Ludescher was the son of the farmer couple Johann and Barbara Ludescher. He married Maria Kronberger in 1960 and between 1961 and 1974 had four daughters and three sons.
