history

Logo until 2012

The website was founded in 1999 under the domain www.ausiegen.ch by Jason Fellmann and Manuel Kern. Originally the portal was planned as a database with information on discos , techno clubs and parties. In 2001 the domain was changed from ausehen.ch to partyguide.ch. The portal has been expanded over time and is used today in particular as an online community and as a party photo host. The party photos are taken by amateur photographers and published on the website. In addition to running its own website partyguide.ch, the company also runs its own events.

In September 2008 partyguide.ch together with usgang.ch and students.ch became part of the Amiado Group AG , which belongs to Axel Springer Schweiz AG . In 2011 the logo was changed and the familiar Braille was removed. In 2014 the logo was revised again and is still valid today in its current form.

On March 31, 2019, PartyGuide.ch was discontinued after almost 20 years.
