Pascal Akoussoulèlou Bodjona (born May 17, 1966 in Kétao ) is a Togolese politician and diplomat and current Minister for Territorial Administration and Decentralization and spokesman for the government of Gilbert Houngbo .

Life

Bodjona was born in Kétao, Bimah Prefecture , and attended school in Bimah and Lomé ; he began studying at the University of Lomé , later he studied at the John F. Kennedy School of Harvard University .

In 1994 Bodjona began his political career as a representative in the Togolese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in 1995 he moved to the Togolese embassy in Washington; From 1998 to 2005, Bodjona was Ambassador of the Republic of Togo to the United States and Brazil . In 2005, Bodjona became director of the Togolese cabinet under Edem Kodjo, as well as spokesman Faure Gnassingbés and the Rassemblement du peuple togolais (RPT) party for the 2005 presidential election in Togo . Following the parliamentary elections in Togo in 2007 , Bodjona was appointed Minister for Territorial Administration and Decentralization and Government Spokesman on December 13, 2007.
