Pascal Dibie

Pascal Dibie (born March 16, 1949 in Paris ) is a French ethnologist .

Life

In 1987 he became a lecturer in social anthropology at the University of Paris . In the same year he was the last medal winner of the sociology prize of Henri Dumarest of the Académie française for his work "Ethnologie de la chambre à coucher".

Pascal Dibie was born in Paris on March 16, 1949. After studying history, he enrolled in the anthropological-ethnological-religious science course and graduated in 1975. He teaches history at various universities ( Schola Cantorum , René Descartes University, ILERI). At the end of the 1970s he launched the ethnological booklet (1976) and initiated the course “l'ethnologie du monde moderne” (The Ethnology of the Modern World) in Paris in 1978. Dibie is also the author of countless books, combined with a novel-like spelling and his knowledge of ethnology, including: "Ethnologie de la porte" (Ethnology of the door) (2012) and "Ethnologie de la chambre à coucher" (Ethnology of the bedroom) (2000).
