Pascal Themanlys (born September 27, 1909 in Paris , † June 25, 2000 ) was a French (later Israeli ) poet , Zionist and Kabbalist . His books on Jewish mysticism were published in French, English, and Hebrew.

Pascal was born in Paris; his parents Louis and Claire Themanlys were important students of Max Théon and were committed to the Mouvement Cosmique in France, which he founded. Pascal Themanlys only met Theon once in 1920 (at the age of eleven, Théon was already over seventy at the time), but he later claimed to have been initiated by his father . This complemented his own studies of traditional Lurian Kabbalah .

During the Second World War Themanlys was in the French Resistance . In 1949 he emigrated to Israel, where he became head of the French section of the Jewish Agency . He was the founder of the Israeli-French friendship.
