Pasion

Pasion ( Greek Πασίων Pasíōn ; * before 400 BC ; † 370 BC ) was an Athenian banker .

It was initially a slave, then was released and was then valid from around 400 BC. Until his death as the most famous banker in Athens . While he had apparently already been very successful in the banking business as a slave, he was now also a shield manufacturer. Pasion eventually became an Attic citizen, despite his socially less recognized origins. He was the father of the famous speaker Apollodorus .
